The Mullins Family

Hi, we’re Abram and Alexa Mullins, proud owners and operators of Bob’s Market. What began as a dream of safer food, slower days, and a closer family life gradually became the foundation for everything we do today.

In 2024, we began our transition away from the fast pace of modern life and toward homesteading. A beautiful log home, breathtaking views, and a few chickens — followed by cows and pigs — later, we fully embraced a more intentional way of living and have never looked back. We are deeply proud of the life we have built for our family through hard work, purpose, and faith.

In 2026, we had the opportunity to purchase Bob’s Market, a long-standing staple in the Big Stone Gap community. It was a natural extension of the life we were already building — one centered on quality food, strong values, and caring for others. Today, Bob’s Market allows us to turn our passion for a slower, more deliberate lifestyle into a business that helps support and feed other families in our community.
